SINGAPORE - A car slid down the slope at the carpark of Marymount Convent School on Wednesday (March 8) morning.

The silver car, a Volkswagen, had crashed through part of the school fence near Marymount Road, but did not look badly damaged.

Officers from the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) and the police force were at the scene.

SCDF said it was alerted to the incident at 7.05am.

Four tow trucks - two at the top of the slope and two at the bottom - were deployed. The vehicle was towed to the top of the slope at about 10am.

There were skid marks on the grass slope and a portion of the fence was damaged.
