Although the couple are active in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, they will just give a one-off reception for an estimated 3,000 guests at Shanghai Exhibition Centre, said the newspaper. The couple dated for six years, but have gone public with their relationship only in the past year.

Angelababy moved to Hong Kong in her teens and has acted in movies like Young Detective Dee: Rise Of The Dragon Sea (2013). She has also made a splash on television, as the only woman in the Chinese adaptation of the South Korean variety show Running Man.

One of China's biggest stars, Huang is known for his roles in movies like Ip Man 2 (2010) and TV shows like The Return Of The Condor Heroes (2006).

Angelababy was introduced to Huang by a friend in 2009, and sparks flew in a karaoke session, said Apple Daily. She is said to have flown frequently between China and Hong Kong in the early days of their relationship to visit him on sets.

He made his high-profile debut as her boyfriend last year, when he gave her a Lamborghini for her 25th birthday, said the newspaper. The supercar was delivered to a party in Hong Kong, where she removed the cover to see Huang sitting in the driver's seat with roses.
