Handlers carefully uncrating the box which holds the mummy of an adolescent boy. The mummy from Hawara, Egypt dates back to the Roman period, between AD 100 - 120.
It is one of more than 200 artefacts in Treasures Of The World From The British Museum. The blockbuster exhibition opens at the National Museum of Singapore on Dec 5.
The show includes artworks and artefacts that span human history. There are hand axes made from early humans in East Africa, luxury wares from the mediaeval period and contemporary art works.
The archaeological treasures come from all over the world, including Mesopotamia and Rome.
The show has travelled to China and Taiwan previously.
