SINGAPORE - Hangout with ST, a video series by The Straits Times, is broadcast live at 8pm every Thursday on the publication's Facebook and YouTube pages.

Hosted by multimedia journalists Alyssa Woo and Hairianto Diman, the series adopts a casual, talk-show format which focuses on what's trending in Singapore and around the world.

In this episode, the hosts talk about Singapore's snack food market which is poised to hit US$166 million (S$226.7 million) in value this year.

The guests for this segment include Ms Audrey Chew and Ms Bandana Kaur from Inspired Snacks, Mr Zac Chua from Kettle Gourmet, and Mr Chris Huang from The Golden Duck.

The hosts will then discuss whether Singapore is losing its kampung spirit, with heritage places such as Katong, Dakota Crescent, and Pearl Bank being demolished or redeveloped.
