MILAN • Dolce & Gabbana took millennial-loving to the next level on Sunday with a catwalk show that saw the who's who of celebrity kids and social media celebrities strutting down the catwalk.

The Italian fashion house is among luxury brands hoping to build up a loyal support base among the so-called millennials - those born after 1980 and who came of age in the 21st century.

It was D&G's second courtship of young influencers following a star line-up at its January menswear show.

This time, it pulled out all the stops with a parade of celebrities and their offspring, almost distracting from the collection featuring animal prints, sparkling princess crowns and big red hearts on slinky gold mini-dresses.

Models on the runway included Destry Spielberg and Sofia Richie, who are daughters of director Steven Spielberg and songwriter Lionel Richie respectively.

Model Amanda Harvey and her husband were first out with two children, whom they carried down the catwalk, as they showed off a D&G spin on black-tie wear - dressing gown-style coats with dozens of pictures of cats on them.

Gabriel-Kane Day-Lewis, actor Daniel Day-Lewis' son, sported a suit with a rocket on it, while Rafferty Law - Jude Law's son - showed off a suit with unicorns embroidered onto pockets.
