Hopes up, expectations down for third Trump-Kim summit

WASHINGTON - US President Donald Trump's schedule for a two-day visit to Seoul this weekend is still coming together, a senior administration official told reporters in a conference call on Monday (June 24) - seemingly leaving open the question of whether the President will visit the Demilitarised Zone (DMZ), which separates North and South Korea.

Such a visit would, in turn, open the tantalising possibility of a meeting with North Korea's Chairman Kim Jong Un. But the senior official said there are no plans for a meeting with North Korean leader Chairman Kim Jong Un.
