The next time Akbar Nawas takes his place in the dugout, he will have to prepare a plan to stifle the talents of former Tottenham forward Robbie Keane while also pitting his tactical nous against the Irishman.

The Singaporean coach has signed a two-year contract with Chennai City, the top-tier I-League team who will take on player-manager Keane's Indian Super League (ISL) side ATK next Friday (March 16) in a qualifier for the inaugural Indian Super Cup. He replaces Indian V Soundararajan.
