SINGAPORE - Get your weekly dose of what's trending in Singapore and around the world with a new live video series by The Straits Times.
Hangout with ST will air at 4.30pm every Thursday on ST's Facebook page and YouTube channel.
The series - which adopts a casual, talk show format - will be helmed by multimedia journalists Alyssa Woo and Hairianto Diman.
Those who tune in will be able to get the dibs on hotly discussed topics of the week as well as share their thoughts via Facebook comments.
Each 30-minute episode will end with handpicked comments seen on ST's Facebook page that have piqued interest or tickled a funny bone.
This week, Hangout with ST will look at the new Public Order and Safety (Special Powers) Bill to give the police expanded powers to deal with a terror attack, higher fees for Changi Airport travellers from July, and Bigbang's G-Dragon army enlistment.
Hangout with ST's debut episode last week saw a lively discussion on new Marvel film Black Panther, Budget 2018, and former City Harvest Church fund manager Chew Eng Han's attempted escape from Singapore by boat.
