For more than a decade, sporting goods store supervisor Randy Rubiales, 45, has had his work lunches at the Kopitiam-run foodcourt at Velocity mall in Novena.

The prices of his favourite Indonesian and Korean dishes there have risen marginally over the years - 50 cents, by his estimation.
