SINGAPORE - Get your weekly dose of what's trending in Singapore and around the world with a live video series by The Straits Times.

The series - which adopts a casual, talk show format - is helmed by multimedia journalists Alyssa Woo and Hairianto Diman and airs every Thursday at 4.30pm on ST's Facebook page.

Topics covered in previous episodes include Dr Mahathir Mohamad's historic win in the Malaysian general elections, teachers having to pay for parking in school as well as a high schooler's cheongsam that triggered debate about cultural appropriation and appreciation.

In this week's episode, they will talk about inequality in Singapore, a ragging incident gone wrong in the Singapore Civil Defence Force, the premiere of the the second season of video series Living City and whether they hear the word Laurel or Yanny in an audio clip that has gone viral.
